New Student Application
If your student is interested in attending SPLC, the first step is to submit a New Student Application online. Once we receive and process your online letter, you will be contacted. If there is space available, you will need to accept the seat before continuing with online registration. All families must attend a registration appointment with their sponsor teacher prior to beginning classes.
If our capacity is reached, new students are enrolled through a lottery process, except for siblings of currently enrolled students and children of staff members, who are automatically accepted first.

Southwest Preparatory is a free, public charter school open to all students in grades 4-8 that are in good standing. Our enrollment policies prohibit discrimination based on disability, race, creed, color, gender, national origin, religion, or need for special education services.
Important Note for 8th graders: If your student is moving from 8th grade to our high school, Southwest Secondary, you will have to complete a New Student Application for Southwest Secondary and go through the lottery process.
