Math InstructorI am Mike Weber, the mathematics instructor at SSLC. My assistant is Julia Velasquez.
Our teaching responsibilities range from 7th grade math to pre-calculus.
I hold a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from Chapman University. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico.
I have an Interim License to teach math and I’m pursuing Level 1 certification. I have already passed all required tests. Julia is pursuing her license to teach Elementary Education.
Teaching is my second career. I am a retired Air Force Master Sergeant.
The E2020 curriculum is tough and thorough. Students who practice good math discipline will be well prepared for college.
