Michael Weber

Math Instructor
The lead mathematics instructor at SSLC is Mike Weber. Along with Amelia Schnorr and Adam Huff, the math team augments the E2020 math curriculum ranging from 7th grade math to Pre-Calculus. They also try to help dual-credit students taking classes at CNM and UNM.

Mike holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from Chapman University. Mike has a Level 1 license to teach math, science and technology and will be promoted to Level 2 in July 2012. (He submitted his portfolio too early, but he met all other criteria for promotion.)

Teaching is Mike’s second career. He is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant with 20 years of service.

The E2020 curriculum is tough and thorough. Students who practice good math discipline (i.e. good notebook discipline) will be well prepared for college.
