This is my thirteenth year teaching elementary students. I am very excited about this year and look forward to getting to know you! My education philosophy is to provide each child a safe environment, rich in academics, diverse in learning styles, while building a sense of community.
Homework
Math homework is given daily. On Thursday a Spelling–Language Arts packet is handed out and due back the following Wednesday. I go over the packets on the day they are handed out.
If there is ever a question about the homework, I encourage the students to bring in the packet and I will be happy to help them with it.
Every Wednesday is a spelling and reading test. On Friday, students will be given a math test and a science or social studies test.
