The Math and Science Bureau of the Public Education Department and the New Mexico Math and Science Advisory Council has acknowledged Southwest Primary Learning Center’s 4th grade students (now 5th grade) for having the highest percentage of students performing at Proficient or Advanced Level Math in the state.
A letter from Rick Scott, the Bureau Chief of the Math and Science Bureau of the Public Education Department, informed the school that this excellent achievement would be recognized “at a ceremony during the first Math and Science Day at the Legislature on Tuesday, February 5”.
