Southwest Secondary Learning Center Students Achieve Highest Math Gains
Albuquerque – February 8, 2011 – The New Mexico Public Education Department announced today that Southwest Secondary Learning Center 7th graders averaged the greatest one-year gains in the state on the Math portion of the New Mexico Standards Based Assessment. As well, the Southwest Primary Learning Center 5th graders had the highest percentage of students performing at the Proficient or Advanced level in Math of all 5th grade classes in New Mexico.
