A Photo Walk provides students with the opportunity to improve their photography skills
as well as take a closer look at something in the community. Prior to the walk, students
receive instruction in various techniques and skills. Following a walk, students prepare
slide shows of their assignment photos and present to the group.
Prizes may be awarded in specified categories.
Requirements for participation in a Photo Walk
--(Some walks are limited to certain age groups.)
Requirements
Photo Walk Participation. Students must submit a Parent Permission Form and a copy of class progress
indicating that he/she is "On track." Transportation is provided, but students are responsible for lunch
and snack money. Students may use their own camera or check out a camera from the Smart Lab.
